23 years old today!

Had a wonderful day, despite being woken up too early by a phone call about a car I had thought about going to look at for buying today (it was sold, boo). Got up and had breakfast with my Dad, then hung around the house all morning into the early afternoon watching tv and playing on the computer. Then had lunch with mom and was treated to some birthday pampering... a wonderfully amazing Spa pedicure! yay! It was soooo relaxing. After that there was a lovely dinner with the family at home, including cake and presents! 

I now own seasons 1&2 of Kids in the Hall, Enchanted and Juno. I have my Iron Man action figured standing on my bedside table along with my "sexy" necklace. XD I also have a new camera! My old one was a couple of years old, had almost no internal memory, and very limited options (this one has better zoom, macro, better ISO choices, etc).

All in all, having the four-day weekend was amazing and just what I needed, though I'm sad it's over. I'm comforted by the fact that I now only have 3 days of work to trudge through before I have another weekend (and Allison's birthday, at that!). Next weekend I think I'll spend the money my grandmother gave me for my birthday towards a massage as a birthday present for myself.
