This weekend was nice, if mostly uneventful, and full of movies.
Friday night met with Allison and Ash to hang out and watched Can't Hardly Wait, which definitely brings me back. Saturday I got up early to get my allergy shot and pick up my lost coat from CRC. Then Allison and I decided to buy last minute tickes to see the musical Assassins! at a small random theater called the Ivory Theater down on the South side, which was absolutely AWESOME. We only paid $15 for the tickets, and it was a tiny little theater with no bad seats in it. The show was fantastic, and it felt so nice to get out and see something like that. Also, Assassins is awesome to begin with, it was fun to finally get to SEE it after listening to the music and reading the play for theater class last year. It was pretty hillarious because one of the actors had his theater degree from Truman too. Anyway, it felt so great to get out on the town and see some theater, and Allison and I both enjoyed it.
Today slept in, because I woke up feeling not so great due to sleeping really badly lately. So I did nothing and watched both movies I borrowed from Ashley, The Illusionist and Thank you For Smoking. Both were insanely awesome, and I can't believe it took me this long to see them both. Other than that, teh weekend was spent knitting the baby blanket, which is going really well. Soon enough I will be ready to start decreasing.
That is all.
